Bookstart St. Maarten campaign
As you probably know it is never
to early to teach a child the love for books.
To encourage all
parents and caregivers to enjoy books with their children from as early an age
as possible the Philipsburg Jubilee Library launched the Bookstart St Maarten
campaign aimed at parents and caregivers of babies and toddlers. Our slogan was: Read
to me!
The goal of our Bookstart campaign was to motivate parents and caregivers of
babies and toddlers to register their children as library-members. Also we wanted
to encourage them to take time out to read to their children as often as
possible. This will ensure that the children become life long readers.
Special ‘Read to me‘ offer for babies and toddlers @ your library!
As of April 20th all parents who registered their baby or
toddler at the library got a surprise bag full of gifts! As an
additional offer between April 20th and April 25th
parents who registered their baby or toddler, got a library card free of
charge. Only a refundable deposit of Naf 25,- had to be paid.
