Donations: Windward Island Bank
Contrary to popular belief  Friday June 13 turned out to be a lucky day for the Philipsburg Jubilee Library. On this day library director Ans Koolen  was handed over a cheque worth $ 20.000 by a representative of  the Windward Island Bank. The W.I.B donation will be used for the retiling of the floors of  the library building. The rapid deterioration of the floor covering  in the public spaces of the  library has been a long time concern for the library staff because it led to an unsafe situation for the public. The W.I.B donation will be used  to lay new tiles in the  hall, the area around the circulation desk, the information desk and the children’s corner.
