Exhibition Junior Chamber international
This month JCI St. Maarten will be celebrating its 39th Anniversary and to commemorate this will be have a display at St.Maarten Jubilee Library from the 22nd until the 27th of June‘2009. On the 24th of June we will be having our monthly General Membership Meeting, which is held every last Wednesday of the Month at the Library from 7:30 pm. And on the 27th it self we will be having an Open House and we are invite everyone in our community especially if your are in the age range of 18 to 40 years old. 

JCI is a worldwide community of young active citizens ages 18-40 who share the belief that in order to create positive change, we must take collective action to improve ourselves and the world around us. Engaging in activities ranging from community development to international projects, members demonstrate their social responsibility and improve themselves through participation, leadership and action. 

Their mission is: “to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, entrepreneurship and fellowship necessary to create positive change.”  

Their vision: to be the leading global network of young active citizens. 

This year the board of 2009 have pledge to continue improving our relationship with the media. Our theme for 2009 will be:  Uniting our Past and Present to Build our Future.

Their aim is to introduce  new persons to our organization through our extensive training program, lectures, community program etc.
