the Library
Under the theme “Once
upon a Christmas” a well visited and enchanting Christmas

There was the
traditional Christmas market on which a host of local crafters, bakers and
artisans displayed their wares and creations. Offered for sale were baked goods,
hand made
Christmas tree decorations, greeting cards, paintings locally made juices and
liquors.
In the hall both
children and adults were entertained with a cultural program packed with local
celebrities.
As part of the children’s program the choir of the sixth graders of the Mac’s
Browlia Mailard Campus performed
Christmas carols. Young Shakirah Cornett did a a poem and another young girl,

Christmas dance. Mrs. Rita Carty read the Christmas story and of course Santa
Claus visited the children with his
sock full of sweets.
After Santa left it was
time for some entertainment for the adults.
The talented piano students of t Dennis Tjong performed several classical
pieces.
Cutie Johnson used her captivating voice to entertain the public with some
religious songs.
Well known artists Connis vanterpool and Mighty Dow closed of the
evening by playing traditional Christmas music.
