Sex Health = Safe Sex = Best Sex Philipsburg Jubilee Library and Sector Healthcare combined their resources to draw your attention to the subject of safe sex. An issue that deserves awareness not only on the 24th of September 2009 but should be an everyday concern for all of us. Sex is a very important topic. Having sex is something to think about, it is a big step in one’s life. One has to consider the many feelings and responsibilities that go with it, such as am I ready for this, what will my parents say, the church as well as society views on sex before marriage, is she or he the right one for me. The cheating, pregnancies, dropping out of school and the sexual transmitted diseases, the breaking up of a relationship that was thought to be secure. Serious cases of depression may follow. These are some of the things that can happen as a result of having sex before one is ready. On the 24th
of September 2009 we here at the library will be hosting a very informative
session on safe sex.
All teenagers and
young adults are invited to come out and participate in what will be a fun
filled evening. 1. Speech by the Hon. Rev. Florentina Richardson. 2. Speech by the commissioner of health the Hon. Mr. H. Richardson 3. Skits by Teenage sex drive. 4. Guest lecture by a representative from the Health Department.
So come one and
all to be enlightened and entertained. And remember that the best sex is safe
sex! Also on display: books from the various library collections We are glad to
cooperate in bringing about awareness. |
