The constitutional changes have resulted in the Philipsburg Jubilee Library becoming the National Library of country St. Maarten. This new status has been laid down in the Integrated Cultural policy framework presented by the Cultural Policy Steering Committee of Saint Martin. This means the library will preserve all publications published in St. Maarten and safeguard them for new generations.
