How to Volunteer

Are you an adult who is looking for regular or short-term assigments? Are you a teen who wants to volunteer for fun, school, church or scouting credit? Do you need to fulfill a community service requirement for court, probation or a diversion program (for teens only) ?

If this is the case then volunteering at the library might be just the thing for you! Library volunteers play an important role as partners in the Library's mission of connecting people to the world of ideas and information.

Persons are encouraged to volunteer at special library events such as the summer reading program, childrens bookweek etc. So if you want to help us by organizing events/expositions, working with kids, giving computer instruction, doing small jobs, etc. please contact us by email, phone or just drop by.
