Starting Tuesday, the 17th of November 2015, through Saturday, the 21st of November, the library will be hosting various events around its Baby and Toddler program. Entry to the events will be free of charge. All parents of toddlers and babies are invited to come with their children to the fun-packed activities, especially for the little ones and their parents

THREE PART LECTURE SERIES
FREE TO THE PUBLIC

The last session in the Power of Knowledge series will be taking place on Tuesday, October 20th at 6:30 pm. This will be an informative and in-depth lecture on Sint Maarten labor law by Nikima Groeneveldt-Hickinson, Policy Advisor at the Department of Labor.

Tuesday evening, October 13th, the library will be hosting another interesting and informative Power of Knowledge information session. The topic of the evening will be the services provided by the Ombudsman. Gwendolien Mossel, Legal Advisor at the Ombudsman, will be presenting this latest session which will start at 6:30 pm.

The popular and well-received Power of Knowledge sessions are back at the library. Starting Tuesday, September 29th, the library will be hosting information sessions on labour law, immigration, financial planning and insurance.

After the successful opening events of September 11th & 12th, The next activity of the SXM READS campaign will be held on Saturday September 19th at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library.

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library will restart its Baby and Toddler activities for the little ones, starting on Wednesday, September 16th.

Starting September 16th, the Philipsburg Jubilee Library will be providing a course for adults on how to use Microsoft Excel. The course will take place in the Media Lab and will be provided twice a week by instructor Kenneth Peters

A brand-new literacy campaign, called “SXM Reads” will be officially launched this week with an opening ceremony on Friday September 11th at 7.00 pm at the Asha Stevens School in Cay Hill.
