On Tuesday February 28th the Readers are Leaders book club will have their annual Black History Celebration at the Library. On the program are various acts to be performed by students from the participating high schools. Students from the Vocational school will do a Poem and drumming rendition as well as a dance to song rendition. Anansi the ages old spider still has an important message for us in the the 21st century . To demonstrate this Anansi expert Mr. Mirto Laclé and popular storyteller Hillie Arduin will team up on Friday February 24th for a unique presentation about Anansi folktales at the Library.
